I had the pleasure of capturing Jen and John’s love story, a tale of resilience and joy amidst the challenges of 2020. Originally planned for 06/06/2020, their wedding journey took unexpected turns due to the global pandemic. But love knows no bounds, and their determination led them to a beautiful wedding at the Artifact Events venue in Ravenswood, Chicago.
Artifact Events holds a special place in my heart as a Chicago wedding photographer. Its unique blend of historic charm and modern elegance provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. Nestled in the vibrant Ravenswood neighborhood, this venue boasts versatile spaces that cater to every couple’s dream wedding.
Stepping into Artifact Events feels like entering a time capsule of Chicago’s rich history. The venue’s industrial chic aesthetic, with exposed brick walls and lofty ceilings, exudes an undeniable charm. Every corner tells a story, creating a picturesque setting for couples to say “I do.”
Jen and John’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by their loved ones, they exchanged vows filled with love and promise. As a professional wedding photographer, capturing their joyous moments against the backdrop of Artifact Events was a dream come true.
2020 tested the resilience of couples and vendors alike, but it also reminded us of the power of love and community. Jen and John’s decision to celebrate their union at Artifact Events symbolizes hope and the triumph of love over adversity.

Artifact Events in Chicago is an incredible wedding venue that is perfect for those who want a unique and unforgettable experience for their special day.
This modern and versatile venue offers a mix of industrial charm and urban elegance, making it a sought-after location for weddings.
As a Chicago wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful moments at this venue and I can honestly say that it is one of the best in the city.
The exposed brick, industrial details, and beautiful natural light make it the perfect backdrop for any wedding. Not only is the venue visually stunning, but it also has a lot to offer in terms of space and amenities
Located in the heart of the city, Artifact Events is easy to reach from anywhere in Chicago and its surrounding areas. With its exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and steel beams, the venue provides a beautiful and contemporary setting that is perfect for any style of wedding, whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a grand affair.
One of the most notable features of Artifact Events is its versatility. The venue has several different event spaces that can be used to create the perfect setting for your wedding, including an outdoor patio with beautiful Romanian columns, and a spacious indoor area that can accommodate a huge number of guests.
Whether you’re looking for an outdoor ceremony or a more traditional indoor celebration, Artifact Events has you covered.
The venue has the capacity to host two weddings simultaneously, with a north building and a south building connected by a charming common backyard area. This space, embellished with beautiful ancient-style columns, provides the ideal backdrop for capturing stunning photographs.

The venue also serves as a host for Christmas shows, providing a platform for local artists to display and sell their creations.
During the winter months, when wedding season slows down and the weather might not be ideal, Artifact Events generously opens its doors to artists from the Chicagoland area. Interestingly, I’ve personally participated in these Christmas shows, offering my products from my side hustle, Maloos Design.
As a professional wedding photographer, I have had the chance to shoot many events at the Artifact Events venue.
The ceremony of each wedding took place in different places around the venue based on the theme of the wedding and the choice of the couple.
Once I shot a ceremony of a wedding in the backyard, where the arch was placed in the middle of the columns.
The other time was right down the stairs on the first floor and the recent one was held on the second floor in a room with black walls, and gold mirrors and chandeliers.
