Select the session type(s) you’re most interested in, and I’ll reach out via email within 24 hours with more information, session availability, and an opportunity to schedule a complimentary consultation on my calendar.
If we’re a great fit to work together and you’d like to move forward, simply sign the contract and pay a 50% deposit to secure your desired session date on my calendar.
I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire that helps me learn who you are and what you need precisely to customize your session accordingly. I need to know your mission, the character of your business, your desired audience, your taste, and more. Then I will plan your session, scene by scene, and create a shot list to make our session efficient and get the most out of it. Your time and money should be invested back into your business, and I do my best to make the session efficient. We’ll talk about the outfits you are wearing, the locations, and the activities we will do during the session.
It’s time to have some fun! I’ll guide you each step of the way so you feel comfortable and relaxed. My videographer and I work shoulder to shoulder and document the story of your business. In the shot list we design together, I make sure to give you content in seven different categories: Headshots, Portraits to the camera, Action Shots, Lifestyle Shots, Behind the Scenes, Details, and Flat Lays. That way, you’ll know you’ll have high-quality content for your social media and website for months.
1. What’s your photography style?
I specialize in a seamless blend of documentary and portrait photography, capturing authentic moments with a timeless touch. My goal is to highlight the essence of your personal brand, focusing on both candid and posed shots that reflect your unique story, values, and the work you do as a business owner.
2. How far in advance should we book you?
I recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially in the summer when I’m busy with weddings and branding sessions. But hey, feel free to reach out for last-minute availability — you never know!
3. How long is the session?
Well, it actually depends! I'll be able to give you a better estimate after our consultation call. The price sheet is typically based on a 1-hour session, but don't worry, you can always add more time if needed.
4. How much do people tend to spend?
It really depends on your type of business and how much time we’ll need for the shoot. Some industries, like culinary or hospitality, may require more prep time. On the flip side, other businesses are all set and ready to go. On average, clients spend between $1000 and $2000 — but everything is tailored to meet your specific needs and budget!
5. How many photos will we receive?
You can generally expect an average of 50–70 edited images per hour of coverage.
6. How far would you drive for a personal branding session?
Locations within a 25-mile radius of my base (Evanston) are included at no extra cost. For anything farther, I charge a $50 travel fee for every additional 10 miles. Let me know your dream location, and we’ll plan accordingly!
7. Would you also do videography?
Yes, depending on the package you choose! The best option is when you book both photography and videography together. My videographer and I work side by side, capturing the same moments from different perspectives. You'll end up with photos and videos from the same scenes — perfect for showing off your brand on your website or social media.
8. Would you give the Raw files?
Hey, great question! Here’s the deal:
For photography, I’ll deliver all selected images fully edited and ready to go — perfect for posting and sharing your awesome business.
For videography, I’ll happily provide you with all the RAW video footage! That way, you can create short clips and reels for your social media whenever you want.
If you’re interested in videography with a DSLR camera, I’ll even create a short edited video (around 2–3 minutes long) capturing the essence of your business. And guess what? You can also opt for a voice-over instead of music — just prepare your script, and we’ll record your voice separately for that extra personal touch.
9. Where does the session take place?
When it comes to capturing the heart of your business, I always recommend shooting at your workspace, shop, office, or studio. It's like giving your audience a personal tour behind the scenes! And if you work from home, no worries — we can set up right there too.
Oh, and if you prefer a clean, polished look, I have access to a beautiful studio space. Just note that there’s a $200 additional fee for using the studio — but trust me, it’s worth every penny!
10. Are the photo and video sessions separate?
It all depends on the package you choose. My most popular option is the photo + video combo, where my videographer and I work shoulder to shoulder, capturing the same scenes together. Occasionally, if needed, we’ll separate a bit to make sure we get the best angles — but it’s all super smooth and well coordinated!
11. Can you do product photography?
Absolutely! I offer flexible product photography services that can be customized based on what you need.
I consider everything — the type of product, how you plan to use the images, the style you're aiming for, and your target audience. My goal is to create photos that grab attention and make your products shine!
Pricing for product photography is TBD (since every project is unique), but don’t worry — we’ll figure out the best plan together to fit your needs and budget.
12. How long is the turnaround time for receiving the images?
Delivering your images quickly is super important to me! You can usually expect your high-resolution images via an online gallery within 3–4 weeks after your session — while the excitement is still fresh.
