You can include your children in the wedding ceremony while you prepare to read your vows and profess your eternal love for your spouse.
Think about asking your son to “give you away,” or your daughter is the flower girl! As a bonus to having kids involved, this is also adorable and would create a beautiful scene for a photo. Many wedding photographers near me agree with this!
I had a couple with a one-year-old son, he walked down the aisle in mommy’s arms, holding a sign: Here comes the bride! It was the cutest scene ever.

2-Kids welcome bags
Bags of goodies for guests are a wonderful gesture. Make sure you have ones ready for the youngest bundles of joy!
Stuff them with snacks (not sugary ones), riddles, pinwheels, storybooks, coloring books, bubble wands, and more! The youngsters will appreciate their personalized backpacks filled with fun things to do.
Trust me, it will keep them busy for at least 5 good minutes. Lol! Just kidding. Kids are different. Some can get entertained longer than others. I didn’t have the privilege to be such a parent. My son is a bomb of energy, seeking another fun activity every other five minutes.
3-First family dance with children
Play a particular song for a family dance that includes the kids after you and your partner have taken a spin around the dance floor.

I shot a wedding, and after the couple’s first dance, the DJ surprised them with a remix song from the famous children’s song: Baby Shark Doo Doo Doo Doooo. The dance floor was unforgettable as you can imagine.

I highly recommend you hire a professional babysitter on your wedding day. You cannot pay full attention on your wedding day to your children.
The rest of the family might be busy getting ready and enjoying the wedding day. Having a professional babysitter assures you that the kids are, first and foremost, safe all the time.
Also, you can be sure that they get fed on time and don’t get dehydrated during the day.
They get entertained during the formality of the wedding day and also if they need to take a nap or go to bed early, the babysitter can make that happen.
6-A forgettable wedding with children
Remember, they cannot be up all day and at some point, they get tired and possibly grumpy. It is worth it to hire someone who can take care of them perfectly and let you enjoy your wedding in Chicago.
