As a Chicago wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing some of the most special moments of my clients’ lives. Over the years, I have noticed that there are a few questions that come up again and again from my couples when it comes to their wedding photography. In this blog post, I will answer some of the most commonly asked questions to help you better understand what to expect on your wedding day and how to ensure that your photographs turn out as beautiful and memorable as your special day.
This is a great question and one that I get asked often. The number of photos you receive will depend on a few factors such as the length of your wedding day, the number of locations you have chosen for your photos, and the size of your bridal party. On average, I deliver anywhere between 500-800 photos for a full wedding day. However, please keep in mind that it’s not about the quantity of photos, but the quality of the moments captured.
Absolutely! I am more than happy to show you a full wedding gallery so that you can get a sense of what your final images will look like. Seeing a full gallery will give you a better idea of the style of photography I provide and how I capture the various moments throughout the day. Plus, it will also give you a chance to see how I handle different lighting situations and how I can capture the emotions of the day.
Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. They also give you the chance to get to know me and my shooting style, which will help you feel more relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day. I offer engagement sessions as part of my wedding packages or as a standalone service. They can take place in a variety of locations around Chicago, so we can choose a spot that is meaningful to you.
Yes, I offer both prints and albums. Prints are a great way to have physical copies of your favorite images that you can display in your home or give to family and friends. I offer prints in a variety of sizes and finishes, and I can also help you with framing and matting. Albums are a wonderful way to tell the story of your wedding day in a beautiful and timeless way. My albums are handcrafted in Italy and feature lay-flat pages, so your photos will look stunning spread across the pages.
This is an important question to ask any wedding photographer. While I have never missed a wedding, accidents, and emergencies can happen, so it’s important to have a backup plan. In the unlikely event that I am unable to shoot your wedding, I have a network of trusted photographers who I can call upon to take my place. I would also work with you to ensure that you are comfortable with your replacement photographer and that they are able to capture your day in a way that meets your expectations.
Yes, I can provide a second photographer for an additional fee. Having a second photographer allows for more coverage of your wedding day, from different angles and perspectives. It’s especially useful for larger weddings with multiple locations or events happening simultaneously. If you’re interested in having a second photographer, let me know and we can discuss the options.
As a Chicago wedding photographer, I have shot at many of the top venues in the city, so chances are I have worked at your venue before. However, if I haven’t, I always make sure to do my research beforehand
