In my free consultation sessions with couples, I share my experiences as a wedding photographer with the bride and groom-to-be to help them find the right photographer who shares the same style and taste. I wrap up the session by emphasizing not booking a cheap photographer from franchise companies!

Don’t hire a cheap wedding photographer!

Money is usually the biggest factor that prevents engaged couples from having a large wedding that accommodates all of their loved ones, but you can still have a beautiful, low-cost wedding by hosting it at home. Your home is a special place because it’s unique and meaningful to you and your family. It’s a one-of-a-kind location that other weddings will never share. Hosting your wedding at home means you’ll save money on the location, and you’ll have complete control over the space.

How to Turn Your Home into a Personalized Wedding Venue

The first time I visited Chicago was in Nov 2015. I was mesmerized by the beauty of Downtown Chicago in a way that the weather was not bothering me even though it was freaking cold! I wanted to stay out and enjoy the beauty; Everywhere was decorated with Christmas lights, and the city had a great vibe. Actually, I couldn’t resist and eventually moved to this beautiful city in 2016.

Decorative lights!

I attended a photography conference a few years ago and I remember the speaker, who is one of the best wedding photographers in the US, said that a good photographer knows the language of light just like a good musician knows the language of notes.

Tips About Family Pictures on the Wedding Day

I am not a sociologist, nor an anthropologist for sure, but because of the nature of my career, as a wedding photographer in Chicago, I have had the chance to see different cultures and get to know their traditions and even sometimes the stories behind them. I have had the opportunity to learn about different people in the world without even leaving the town! How lucky one can be 🙂

wedding and wedding photography in other cultures?

For 38 years, I didn’t know that I was born on International Dance Day. Interestingly, the day was officially recognized in the same year that I was born. No wonder I love to dance!

As a wedding photographer, I love the First-Dance part of the wedding day. In fact, I look forward to it. There is a lot to it. Emotions, guests’ reactions, and overall lots of interesting moments to capture.
